Cured Salmon Recipe
Russian style cured salmon. You only need 5 hours for this cured salmon.
- 300 gram fresh salmon
- 3 tbsp sea salt
- 1 shot vodka
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 0.5 lemon zest
Dry the salmon with a towel. Do not remove the skin.
Mix salt with sugar. Sprinkle the container in which salmon will be cured with a mixture of salt and sugar (1/3 of the mixture). Sprinkle the rest of the mixture on top of the fish.
Add vodka and half of the lemon zest.
Put cured salmon in the fridge for 5-10 hours. Then brush the salt off.
